How are eligible buildings chosen?

To be eligible for a full fibre upgrade through this program, your building or complex must have:
• nbn Fibre to the Node (FTTN) or Fibre to the Curb (FTTC) available. Check the technology available at your location by visiting Check Your Address.
• shared communications infrastructure that requires access to other premises and/or common areas (e.g. shared driveway or private road) or be situated on a strata title.
• an authorised representative for the collective group of premises within the strata title or equivalent (e.g. Body Corporate, Owner’s Committee, Building Owner).

In addition to the above, eligibility to connect to full fibre also depends on other factors, including (but not limited to) the complexity of the build, infrastructure limitations and environmental factors, which are assessed by nbn on a case-by-case basis.
